Meet the team behind the project
Mr. DeAngelis has extensive experience working in the real estate development, acquisition and management fields. As a founder of TriArch Real Estate Group, LLC (“TriArch”), Mr. DeAngelis currently owns and operates a portfolio of multi-family and mixed-use properties in Manhattan and Queens, the majority of which are subject to rent regulation. Mr. DeAngelis leads all asset and property management functions on behalf of TriArch, including acquisitions, financing, leasing, apartment renovations, capital improvements, reporting to investors and management of project budgets, cash flow projections and tenant buyouts.

Prior to founding TriArch, Mr. DeAngelis spent five years working for real estate developer Forest City Ratner Companies (“FCRC”) in the Residential Development group, where he was responsible for sourcing deals and assisted in managing the development activities of a 1 million square foot, $800 million ground-up luxury rental development in lower Manhattan (8 Spruce Street). While at FCRC, Mr. DeAngelis worked on various development projects and was part of a team that managed commercial and residential properties valued in excess of $1 billion, and was a member of the commercial office leasing team for a 10-building, 8-million square foot portfolio in Downtown Brooklyn.

Mr. DeAngelis grew up in New York City, attending the Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School before graduating from Boston College in 2002. Mr. DeAngelis lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife and son.
Todd currently serves at Collegium’s head of development. He has devoted over 17 years to repositioning value-add properties for maximum growth, value, and income. Mr. Benson has completed over $600 million in real estate transaction, and been instrumental in the acquisition, financing, construction, operations, and leasing of those properties. As Co-Founder of Pragma Investments, Todd has, to date, acquired over $100 million of student housing properties, successfully repositioning them in their respective markets. Todd attended the University of Michigan and holds a master’s in finance and development from New York University Institute of Real Estate. Additionally, Todd served as an adjunct professor in finance and development at New York University Institute of Real Estate.
Ian, a Co-Founder of Collegium and Pebb Capital, presides over the real estate investment committee and the fixed income and futures portfolios of Pebb Capital. Previously, he spent more than a decade in the financial services industry trading fixed income, derivatives, and equities. Ian began his career as a lawyer for Prudential Securities and a compliance examiner for the National Association of Securities Dealers’ (NASD) enforcement division. Ian has both a Bachelor of Arts in government and politics from the University of Maryland and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
